The Help by Kathryn Stockett

The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Publisher: Berkley (February 2009)
476 pages, eBook (purchased myself for $9.99)
Book Rating: 4 Stars
Content Note: Includes Swearing
This book was full of wonderful characters, and a story that keeps you interested all the way through. Not only did it provide an interesting look at a turbulent time for not only the south but this entire country, but it also questioned the reasons for and impact of societal lines (not just between black and white, but between rich and poor, liberal and conservative). My only disappointment was that I felt the ending was a bit to open-ended. I would have liked to have had an epilogue telling what happened to everyone. Great book!
